Possessing the powers of the Living Lightning, Billy Batson is an unlikely hero - a cocky delinquent foster child constantly grappling with the responsibilities that come with his immense powers as the Keeper of Magic. Billy is still a teenager, and Shazam is the idealized grown-up verion of him.
