KING GORI from the UFO ROBOT GRENDIZER series by Go Nagai, is the first Vega Beast to appear in the TV Series. KING GORI is the only villain who could nearly defeat the giant hero by tearing up his arms during a fierce battle, a confrontation that lasted 2 episodes, 52 & 53. Duke Fleed could only survive thanks to his friends and sister, Koji, Hikaru, and Maria. King Gori resembles a gigantic gorilla adorned in brown armor with yellow accents including a spiked helmet with a pair of yellow spikes coming out of the sides on its head and one drill tipped horn coming out of the top. King Gori possesses a strong animal instinct attacking a target without mercy. King Gori possesses super strength relative to its size able to throw a robot in its height class around with little resistance. Its armor gives King Gori an impressive defense that most attacks cannot penetrate. The drill on top of its head can also be used offensively, usually in the form of a headbutt.
